Finally have internet back!!

I ended up going a week without internet, and I was going insane!!  LOL  I had a chance to work on some stuff for the kids' party, though, so maybe that was a good thing!  We are doing an Alphabet themed party for Bethany and Caleb together, since their birthdays are only a week apart.  But I tell ya, the way I have this thing planned, I'm doing way too much work for a birthday party!  *eyeroll*  I'm making the kids' goodie bags, and that consists of cutting out letters, like A, which has a very small hole in the middle of it.  Then I decided to figure out prizes for each letter of the alphabet!!  I think I was (or am) insane when I came up with doing that!  I finally figured it all out with help from my mom.  So I have a little more than a week to finish getting everything together.

In the meantime, I've been really working on the scrapbooking pages.  It'd be nice to get them done, get them printed out and give them to the kids for Christmas.  Even though they've seen most or all of the pages, it'd be a nice gift to put up for them.  So here's some more for you to see!

So I've also decided to take up digital scrapbooking in addition to photo editing, and they're turning out AWESOME!!! I've just been getting free scrapkits online for right now, but really those are good enough to get anyone started!!

Crazy, Crazy week!

So my mom asked me to do some work for her on her new site, which included a brochure and a postcard done completely from scratch! The brochure wasn't that bad, but the postcard?! BLAH! But I managed to get it done and they liked it, so I'm happy! I'm really hoping this new site takes off quickly, because there's promise to move up and be relocated! That'd be absolutely wonderful, as long as Rob could find a job! But as of right now, how that company's going, I would not complain at all if he left. There's just too much drama and too much he said-she said in that restaurant, but I guess you'll get that everywhere!

Other than that, It's been kind of mellow. We've had my stepson down for the week, and it's been a change from the arguing and fighting that Sami and Bethany do! The good thing is that school for Sam starts the 18th, so there's a relief, they won't be around each other 24/7, and I think that's what they need!

Caleb's getting to be such a big boy now! He can wave bye bye!! And he stood on his own for a couple seconds yesterday! I was so proud of him, but as soon as we looked over and said anything, he went straight down to his butt! GO FIGURE!!!

So my new thing now is doing siggies, I guess! LOL One of the ladies on Cafemom asked me to do some siggies for her new group, and this is what I came up with!! I have another animated one too that's really cute. I need to work on what I'm doing w/ them, but all of these are my own backgrounds too!! This week should be interesting!! Rob closes most of the week, except for Friday, and now he has to go to Gilman to train on the new POS system after he gets off work here, so I won't see him AT ALL!! :( Gotta love his job! But he does get Monday and Tuesday off of next week, so that'll be cool!! Other than that, not much going on...just wanted to share these adorable siggies with you! ;-D

Could today seriously go any slower?!?!?! I hate days like this. I'm bored as heck sitting inside all day, but we don't have the money to do anything, and I really don't want to go sit in THIS heat for anything! :( I want to edit photos, but I don't have any to edit, because all mine are soooo boring! LOL I think it's partly because I've looked at them so many times that I can't think of anything good to do with them! So I go back to Cafemom and try to get some off there?! I am trying. I put up a post on the newcomer's club, but haven't gotten any responses yet, so I'm just waiting to see. Last time I put one up I had 124 replies! HOLY MACKEREL!! LOL I thought I did a pretty good job on them. I don't know. Rob's at work till 4, so I'm just hangin out with the kids....as normal! I wish there was something more to do in this town that was free, or I could get to easily! I dunno. Well here's a few more pics I'll show off.

Last week my aunt passed away. It was a very stressful and hard weekend, since she was my favorite aunt. She didn't want to have a service or anything, so we got together at my cousin's house for a cookout. My mom's van ended up breaking down in Indianapolis, so we stayed the night at my uncle's house. It is absolutely beautiful down there. He lives about a mile from a covered bridge out in the middle of nowhere in Indiana. I haven't been down there in a while, and I had forgotten how peaceful and beautiful it was down there! I was sooo upset when my camera decided to die when we walked to the covered bridge, or I would have prolly gotten a LOT more pictures. I'm used to relying on my husband for my batteries. OOPS! Anyway, here are some pics that I wanted to show off!
